[Steam] Conditions and procedures for returning games and getting a refund! Can I respond even if it’s “boring”?

“I bought it on sale, but it was too heavy to run on my PC…”
“The game wasn’t what I expected…”
Games purchased on Steam can be easily refunded for any reason as long as the conditions are met.
We will explain the “two conditions” that are surprisingly unknown and how to apply.

“2 hours/2 weeks” rule for refunds

Steam’s refund policy is very clear. If the following two points are met, you will be automatically approved.

• Must be within 14 days of purchase
• Play time less than 2 hours

Please note that the time spent on the menu screen after startup is also counted.

Application instructions

1. Open help page (Steam Support)
2. Select “Purchase” and choose the game you want to refund
3. Select “I purchased by mistake” or “I’m having trouble playing”
4. Click “I want to receive a refund”

The money will be refunded to your wallet within a few hours at the earliest.

Summary

The good thing about Steam is that you can just buy it and return it if it doesn’t work. Don’t be afraid to try it.
