[Monster Hunter Wilds] Strongest weapon ranking tier table (January 2026 version)! The sword and bow are too strong

Every time the environment changes, the question that comes to mind is, “Which weapon is the strongest in the current environment?”
This time, we have created a strongest ranking of all 14 weapon types in the current patch (compatible with Ver.XX). Comprehensive judgment is made based on solo clear time and multiplayer contribution.

S rank: Top environment (human rights level)

The characters ranked here are strong characters that you would be surprised to have in multiplayer if you don’t have them.

• Bow
  It’s still a firepower monster. As long as you can manage your stamina, you can complete the hunt without letting the monsters do anything. Unless the hard firing from CS (Charge Step) is fixed, its position as the strongest will remain unchanged.
• Tachi
  The judgment of counter techniques has been relaxed, making it easier for beginners to generate firepower. In particular, the motion values of new skills are strange.

A rank: Stable strong weapon

Although it is one step short of S rank, it is a weapon that can be used to fight on the front lines.

• Great Sword
  The romance of the Shin Tamegiri is alive and well. It goes well with battoujutsu, and you can definitely earn damage with hit and away.
• Light Bowgun
  The armor-piercing high-explosive shell has been slightly weakened, but the stun binding power is still intact. Just having one person in multiplayer can dramatically change the difficulty level.
