[Apex] How to increase your rank even on bad days! Mental technique to manage “tilt (frustration)” and avoid losing RP

“I wasn’t feeling well today, so I ended up with minus 200 RP…”
The scariest thing about Apex ranked matches is not the strength of the enemy, but your own mental breakdown.
Once you lose, you try to make up for it and play sloppily, causing you to lose even more.
I will teach you how to think to break this vicious cycle (tilt) and bring it to zero even on bad days, and to positive when things go well.

The golden rule of “15 minutes break after two consecutive losses”

This is the strongest rank technique.
If the first death occurs twice in a row, force the game to close.
Go to the bathroom, drink water, stretch, look at your smartphone.
If you don’t reset your brain from “battle mode”, “impatience” will unconsciously show up in your play.
When you come back 15 minutes later, your calm judgment should have returned.

Give “genre master” to someone else

If you’re not confident, leave it on the character selection screen and hand over Jump Master to an ally.
If you decide where to get off by yourself, there is pressure that if you get off at a strange place and die, it’s your fault.
If you leave it to your ally, you can switch roles and say, “I’ll focus on covering my ally.”
(Of course, I can’t complain if an ally falls down and dies immediately, but the mental burden will be lighter)

Reducing the negative means “increasing”

Rank Points (RP) will increase by “minimizing your losses” rather than by “winning big”.
It is easier and more important to prevent initial death (-50RP) 4 times than to take the champion (+200RP) once.
If you think you can’t get a kill today, use support characters (lifelines and conduits) and focus on shooting your allies from behind.
There is nothing to be ashamed of on days when you are excited just by ranking points.

Summary: Courage to quit

There are days when you just can’t win.
On days like that, consider it a day when you won’t be changing ranks, and play casual music or mix tapes, or go to bed.
Protecting RP is synonymous with promoting RP.
